It isn't really clear, why from all the characters of the band's name, the 'E' is used for this rather dramatic and expressive gesture. On the flip side, the same man mysteriously measures the gap between one of the cubes and an egg in his hand.
The entire situation leaves a mark of something obscure but important that happens here, and exactly this seems to be, what composes the fascination of this cover.
