Now the new SPROUT HEAD UPRISING record, a Lee Perry song, is released by Stiff Records. It's called "THROW SOME WATER IN" and the single is a stunning concoction of country distinctive, accented who was born in Paris is brilliant, "says, blue-grass and cajun with the vocals of Marie-Louise Jackson "The concept of country music is brilliant", says Michael, "but no-one's ever done it properly which is where SPROUT HEAD UPRISING comes in. We play happy 'summer' music and we're determined to be a success . . . . I've never done anything by halves:
I even have an overdraft at two banks!"

SPROUT HEAD UPRISING recently played their first gig, at the 77 Club in Calderstone Mental Hospital, Black-burn (the actual home of the Beatles 4,000 holes), and the band is now a fulltime concern poised for success and stardom.
