To pretend they are not in a horrible and dangerous situation during world war two, many of the soldiers collected the pictures from 'The Sketch Magazine' to have some beautiful 'sunshine' in their daily life. The man who created these magnificent paintings was David Wright (rip.gif 1967). They are extraordinary and worth to be gathered till today. His very special way to portray the Ladies makes his remarkable and typical work so enchanting. In contrast to most of the other artists of this genre he made the surroundings to an important part of his expressive paintings.
